GerbView 11.00
GerbView 11.00 is a viewer and conversion tool for Gerber files and other file formats used in PCB (Printed Circuit Board) design.
GerbView 11.00 Description
It’s mainly used by electronics engineers, PCB designers, and manufacturers to inspect, annotate, and convert PCB design files without needing a full EDA suite like Altium or KiCad. GerbView supports metric and imperial coordinates. Users can copy the required parts of files and documents to the Clipboard and then import them into other Windows programs.
The capabilities of GerbView 11.00 include printing documents in color, black and white, having a preview of documents before printing, and converting documents to raster formats such as TIFF, CALS, PNG, JPEG, PDF, and BMP.
Features Of GerbView 11.00
- View Gerber Files: Supports Gerber RS-274D and RS-274X (standard formats used for PCB layers).
- View Other Formats: Drill files (Excellon), HPGL/2, AutoCAD DXF, Adobe PDF (limited), and raster images (TIFF, BMP, JPEG, etc.).
- Markup & Annotation: Add comments, highlight areas, and draw directly on the layers — great for reviews and documentation.
- Layer Control: Turn layers on/off, change color, transparency, and stacking order — like how you’d view them in CAD.
- Measurement Tools: Measure distances, object sizes, and spacing — useful for validating designs.
- Convert Between Formats: Convert Gerbers to PDF, DXF, HPGL, raster formats, and more.
